CrushSVG ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
SVG Data: When you use our optimizer, SVG files are sent to our server for processing. We do not store your SVG files after optimization is complete. Files are processed in memory and discarded immediately after the response is sent.
Account Data: If you create an account, we store your email address, your plan, and your optimization usage counts. Your login session is a token kept in your browser's localStorage.
Usage Data: We collect analytics from two sources. Simple Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not track individuals, and is fully GDPR compliant. And our own first-party analytics, which sends page views, referrer, page title, screen and viewport size, device characteristics (graphics renderer, CPU cores, device memory, connection type), page performance metrics, and anonymized interaction patterns (scrolling, pointer movement, key-press timing - never the keys you type in any input field) to our collector at t.crushsvg.com. It stores a random identifier in your browser's localStorage to group page views from the same browser; this identifier is not linked to your account or email and is never shared with anyone.
API Usage: We track optimization counts per fingerprint (a hash of your IP address and browser headers) to enforce free tier limits. We do not store raw IP addresses or browser fingerprints - only a one-way hash.
Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment information on our servers.

To detect and prevent abuse or security issues.
We never sell your personal information to third parties.
Stripe: If you subscribe to a paid plan, we share necessary information with Stripe to process payments. Stripe's privacy policy governs their use of this data.
Simple Analytics: We use Simple Analytics for privacy-first website analytics. They do not collect personal data or use cookies.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request.
We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data transmission, SVG sanitization to strip potentially malicious content, and regular security reviews.
SVG files are never written to disk - they are processed entirely in memory and discarded after the optimized result is returned.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
No Account Required: The free tier does not require an account, so we hold minimal data about you.
Deletion: Usage quota data is automatically purged after 3 months. If you have a paid account, you can request deletion by contacting us.
Data Portability: Contact us if you need a copy of your data in a portable format.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use localStorage for your login token, your theme preference, and the analytics identifier described above. See our Cookie Policy for more details.
